Stille Projektionen (2024)

In 2024, I was a guest at Quartier am Hafen in Cologne (GER) and organised the exhibition series Stille Projektionen: Four Walls. Three projections. One text.

Four visualisations were created in this spatial and technical setting. The invited artists were Thyra Schmidt (Düsseldorf), Susanna Schoenberg (Cologne), Swinda Oelke (Frankfurt/M) and Hanna Koch (Düsseldorf).

The poetic, observational, reflective and analytical works dealt with intimacy and encounters, interior spaces and environments, the labelling of bodies through language and the role of technology. They were accompanied and complemented by commentaries: on the last day of the exhibition, four artists who have or had a studio or a scholarship in the Quartier am Hafen responded to the works of their colleagues: Kim Collmer, Hans Diernberger, Lyoudmila Milanova and Jimin Seo.
