Natur, Objekt, Ich und Gefühl (2009)
Video,DV, 11'38, Sound with Detlef Klepsch
at Kunstfilmtag, Düsseldorf, DE
An everyday object is unexpectedly transformed. Light and rain act upon it. Its surface changes. Its function remains undefined. The acoustic manipulation of a heavy rain shower creates a space in which a man's voice delivers a text reflecting on the Romantic worldview. The video was shown in 2009 at the Kunstfilmtag at Malkasten Düsseldorf.
In 2025, the exhibition Fringe Phenomena at MMIII Kunstverein Mönchengladbach (GER) showed an installation by Detlef Klepsch and me: On the ground floor of the MMIII, we showed Rear Projections with mini projectors, headphones and steel frames, through which 7 video works with sound from the years 2008 to 2024 were accessible. Natur, Objekt, Ich und Gefühl was part of this.
